Fabio Parigi
Fabio Parigi is a passionate leader dedicated to providing clean cooking solutions for millions. He co-founded Clean Cooking Technologies Srl to empower families with affordable technology and financing options for safer, zero-emission electric cooking. As the company’s leader, he oversees team building, startup operations, and strategic development, including engineering activities, partnerships, and business models like pay-as-you-go and carbon credits.
Fabio brings over twenty years of experience in the energy sector, having managed projects and research exceeding €100 million. Since 2015, he’s championed clean cooking initiatives in Africa and India. His work as a Renewable Energy Specialist for UNHCR and a technical expert for the EU has further solidified his commitment to sustainable development.
Fabio holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He’s a published author on clean cooking, renewable energy solutions, and advanced energy storage systems.
Fabio’s collaborative efforts with universities, foundations, and NGOs have led to the successful deployment of low-cost, high-efficiency cookstoves in rural Africa and India, positively impacting the lives of over 25,000 people. The project’s impact has been presented at key Climate Change forums (COP22-28) and IEEE conferences.
